Personally I know zero but I used to work investigations in a CAC unit so I "know" a few.

Yeah .

My only son.

The fentanyl some goon put in the heroin got him. That, and the fact he'd been clean for six months.

I knew a guy from high school who I hadn't talked to in almost a decade and he overdosed in 2015.

Another guy who was very financially successful and helped manage his wife's medical practice.

Also I think the burnout brother of one of my elementary school friends.

12. 11 dead.
One is alive thanks to the narcan.
I'm a 41 year old Baton Rouge public school product with alot of ties to Ascension Parish folks though. Maybe I'm an outlier.

I don't keep up with them, but some of the losers I went to high school with got their mugs put on Facebook by the sheriff's department for heroin and meth.

None from heroin. But I've had an old friend a few acquaintances od on pain killers. So pretty damn close.

Stick to weed, booze, and mushrooms, and the world would be a better place.

More than a 100. I also work in the industry now and lived in south Florida for two years working in treatment and everyone was dropping likes flies because of the fentynol. It made me really numb to death unfortunately. In active addiction I overdosed multiple times. Luckyy to still be alive.
