I'm 58 and not a fatty but you're correct that too many in the country are way too fat.

I'm not sure if this calculator is correct but I weigh in at 176 lbs. This is for a 6ft male in his thirties. Trying to get down to 170.

Just got back from the 30A. I’m embarrassed for America. I can count on one hand the number of adults I saw who didn’t have fat backs.

Weren't you the guy bitching about KFC in Lobdell?

I'm sure you're quite the physical specimen.

I only lift 3 times a week. I try to do 5 days of cardio, not really interested in getting bulky.

So you saw yourself and a lot of tourists

I'm certain the BMI of 30a residents is way less than wherever you live

Cheeseburgers and plate lunches were the problem. I was up to 207 and miserable.

Just look around next time you're in a restaurant. It blows my mind. We are so accustomed to everyone being overweight that we now tell thin/healthy people they're "too skinny" when, medically, they're not... and we think of people who are technically overweight as not at all.

Look at women 50+, for example. So many short little bowling balls walking around

In Roman times, being fat was a sign of wealth.

I’m in that guy’s boat. I’m 5’10 and 178. I’m trying to get to 170. I’ve been feeling sluggish lately and I’m wondering if that will make a difference. Plus, the wellness nurse at work said that’s where I ought to be.
