quote:

When John Tereska’s Trump-voting family members open their gifts from him on Christmas Day, they will get a shock.

Inside pretty boxes they’ll find notes thanking them for making donations to organizations like Planned Parenthood and the Sierra Club that support causes expected to come under attack from the new administration.

“With my oldest brother, who I know voted for Trump, I’m going right for the jugular. I’m donating to the Democratic National Committee on his behalf,” Tereska said.

quote:

“My father was the Republican mayor of my small home town in New Jersey and spent his career in the navy reserve. My mother told me she would never vote for Hillary Clinton because they have a friend who works for the CIA who said she was ‘difficult’. And there are aunts and uncles and cousins in my family who voted for Trump,” said Urban.

He is ruing the fact that he and his boyfriend agreed, before the election, to attend a big family Christmas gathering for the first time in 20 years.

My parents once didn't get me the GI Joe I wanted with the Kung Fu grip. Those bastards are getting donations to the Church of Satan in their name.

I don't even know who most of my family voted for. We don't talk about politics.

I am OK with someone donating to a worthy charity, instead of them giving me a christmas present.

I'm not going to do things that cost me money in the name of showing someone else up because of their political views.

Politics cost us enough as it is. I get along with my remaining family.

He'll likely be disappointed when his Republican family members tell him they don't give a frick what he spends his Starbucks paycheck on.

Politics doesn't come up at our family gatherings because we're not trashy.

OMG! If a family member did this to me, I'd give zero fricks, congratulate him for wasting his money, and remind him that Trump is still President.

I'd probably also give him a snowflake ornament for the tree.

So he's literally going to do exactly what John Oliver said people should do in the episode immediately following the election? My, how unique. It deserved its own article.

If everyone would treat everyone else they know, who voted for the person they didn't support, the world would be chaos.

I have no problem at all with gay people, but I do have a problem with little bitches who happen to be gay.. I hope his boyfriend has the AIDS.
