Yet still bleed purple and gold? I’m not one of those “you didn’t even go there” types. Just curious what the board is made up of. Deep down I want to support my Alma mater but there’s just too much Tiger in me it doesn’t feel right.

UL LAFAYETTE grad here. Don’t get me wrong I am certainly rooting for them to beat Texas week 1 but beyond that, I don’t keep up with them weekly during the season. I’m too wrapped up in LSU.

Did undergrad at LSU but got graduate and professional degrees elsewhere. Still all-LSU.

My university didn't have a football team so no divided loyalty.

I have a degree from UL and from La Tech. I also worked for LSU for 5+ years.

ETA: also to add, neither of my degrees were offered at LSU at the time that I went to school

UCLA BA 80’s
UCLA MBA 80’s

Actually took 8 hrs of correspondence classes at LSU which transferred to UCLA in the 80’s, while I was in the Army. Never took any classes on campus just through the mail.

I was reared in Louisiana, went to a small HS where we only had basketball and baseball. I never watched a football game in its entirety. Joined the Navy and had friends who watched football. LSU was a good team, Jerry Stovall was All American. Green Bay Packers, led by Jimmy Taylor, were champs. So I started following the Tigers.
I'm a graduate of East Tennessee State University.
I was such an avid fan I subscribed to The Advocate. When I came off a submarine patrol, and came back to the states, there would be about 90 newspapers to read to catch up on the Tigers.

Played baseball at UTSA but my buddy got me hooked on LSU during high school when I didn’t really have a favorite college team. Been to more LSU football games than UTSA. Last one was 2019 Semifinal
