Insightful.

BTW, I think that was meant as a response to Pecker. He's the one who posted the graph. It's hard to carry on these conversations with two different people.

In all honesty, I have no desire to converse with you. Your post history on this forum has shown in the past that you're either unwilling or unable to engage in meaningful dialogue.

I mean, at the very least, Pecker punches out some great species profiles. I'm trying to think what your contribution has been and my mind is blank. In that case, I guess I really do know how you think.

My parents didn't pay for my college, so I don't plan on paying for my kids. That said, I will help them out with food/groceries/etc.

There’s a number of schools that don’t allow you to go part time. My school didn’t.

I hurdled this obstacle by not attending one of those schools.

Nope. Paid for two degrees myself. Waited tables and tended bar at a popular chain restaurant for 4 years, and worked full-time at the Mobile Press/Register. Also, paid my own rent.
Parents did give me a hand-me-down vehicle.
No student loans to repay!
All of this said, it was from 1981 through 86.
I don't know if what I did is possible today without financial assistance.

Undergrad - My dad helped cover the initial tuition payment (1/3rd) one semester. combination of scholarships, R.A. stipends, and working covered remainder of costs.

Masters and Law School - Student Loans and Working, though my dad helped with a couple bills the month I was studying for Bar.

Generally my parents helped by providing food, occasional cash for things, and a place to crash during summers I wasn't taking classes or working.
