Started feb 24. Lost 50 pounds in 5 months. Now just take the minimum and maintain. My numbers from my blood work are all exellent. No limp dick either. Went from 5'9" 220 down to 170. Pants 38 to 32. Didn't even realize I had 50 pounds to lose. No regrets.

I need to do that. Was it expensive?

Does it make you not hungry or too sick to eat? What is the mechanism for the weight loss, in your experience.

The mechanism is that it introduces a natural gut hormone that makes you feel full and sated, so you eat less. Those saying you lose weight by starvation are idiots. You don't starve. You eat. You just eat when you are hungry (yes, you still get hungry), and you eat a lot less than you used to. It's pretty simple.

I was on mounjaro off and on for the last 2 years. The most I ever lost was 15lbs after being on the highest dose. I hated the bloating and constipation. And I was still hungry at night. I've decided to just go weight watchers since it worked for my cousin and his wife.

Well good thing I dont have that issue. Im fat not useless. Have no issues walking up flights of stairs, actually do it daily.
Thats the issue with you internet pillars of health, you assume that all people who are obese cant move, cant climb stairs etc without needing oxygen. Like anything else in this world not everyone is the same.

I know skinny fricks that cant do half the shite I can but its cool, ill continue to work on my health and lose weight, you can continue to be miserable with your life because aint nothing more miserable than caring about others who are working to better them selves because its not your chosen way

Trizepetide does a few things. It curbs you appetite, it also slows digestion so you feel full faster and longer. It also stops "food noise" which is like the constant thought of food.

Before I got on Mounjaro I would plan my day around meals and snacks etc because it was always on my mind. Now I can go all day without eqring if im not careful, which isn't good for you either.

Its also helped me to make better decision and eat smaller portions because of the appetite suppressant.

Not me though everyone asks. I started cutting carbs and portions back in early April and am down 66 lbs. 25 more and I will be in territory I haven’t seen since college more than 2 decades ago. Also quit drinking that alone did wonders to my waist and wallet.

He just tells the truth, lol.

Ignore the noise; especially his. I'm right there with you. I'm not useless, but definitely need to lose weight. I'm down 15 lbs with diet and exercise since mid July; so far, avoiding any pharmaceutical assistance. I'm going to keep at it. You do the same.

I don’t think a pharmaceutical intervention of hormone therapy that will likely need to be administered in perpetuity is a good idea for 98% of people. Nor am i convinced it will be much of a financial savings on the healthcare system.

Both of those seem like reasonable takes to me right now, and I’m more than willing to change my mind with more compelling evidence

i agree with this entirely. i am concerned that there is some as yet unknown trade-off involved. you lose weight but long term some unforeseen side effect becomes a problem. this is all very complicated and i am worried its not as simple as "take shot get skinny, everybody wins".

maybe it is that simple. but thats a risk i will let others take. i can lose weight by running.

My office manager took GLP-1s and lost a ton of weight. She has constant stomach issues now. At least she went to the gym and developed good habits instead of these others just taking a shot and hoping and praying
