Nope. Drinking alcohol isn’t a part of my life.
Don’t care if others do though

I do not drink milk.

Water, an occasional coke zero, and coffee

I'm retired, so no work outside of projects around the house. The wife still works and I usually have a cocktail while preparing dinner and another one afterwards.

I really don't drink all that much beer anymore especially in the above situation since it fills me up more than a cocktail. A 12 pack of bottled Yuengling will last me for a month or more.

I go out to dinner every night so I have a drink (actually 2 and sometimes 3) each night.

I used to drink a beer or two after work every day. I don't anymore. I'm now 40, and I can't or shouldn't drink like I used to.

So it’s ok to “poison yourself with trash” when you go out, but not ok when other people do it when they want?

This is a Karen mentality.

there is no reason here either. Your stimulus is the only difference. I’ve become a very rare drinker. But others do as they please.

And if you do, why do you hate yourself?

I can't imagine getting off of work only to go home and poison myself with trash.

But you admit that you "poison yourself with trash" when going out to dinner or for special occasions. So your reasons for drinking alcohol are ok but if I drink for any other reason then I must "hate myself?"

I can't imaging being this much of a judgmental prick.

I was thinking more along the lines of I see no reason to voluntarily jump out of an airplane that is not about to crash into a ball of flames.

I can't really come up with a good reason to join the Polar Bear club (where they strip to underwear and jump into icy waters up in the arctic).

but some people enjoy doing things like that.
so more power to them. go for it.

just because I wouldn't do it doesn't mean I think less of them for doing it.

OP takes and injects himself with god knows what type of substances and “health products” to get bigger muscles but judges people for having a drink after work
