Lost many brain cells on the strip back in the 80's. And finish the night off with one of them charred Poppa Q burgers.

Wondered in there once and back out after a beer. Was a different crowd for sure. But drinking on Lincoln at the pub and then the Keg after was always a fun night.

Mid to late 90s. They used to let us drink there at 16 years old when it was 18 drinking age.
One of my 1st places to play foos.

Wandered in a couple times. The strip from 2000-2004 was a helluva place.
Shannahan's Penny Pinchers on Wednesday, Nite Caps, the Keg, the Pub.
I remember when the Cajun opened and it was two stories, all I could think was the number of drunks that were going to break their necks on those stairs.
The strip during Mardi Gras parade days was a blast.

We would go to The Pub, The Keg, and Shanahan’s.
Never ventured into Night Caps or The Loose Caboose.
wasn't there also a bar called Buckshots on McKinley? or was it just another name for one of those you mention?

Back in college I visited a buddy at ULL and we went to the loose caboose one Friday night.
Sitting at the bar, we so to dudes sprint out the door. Apparently one of them had stabbed someone in the back.
Fun times

It was a blast in the 80's, after it closed at 2Am, we'd head over to Cowboys till sun up. Then it was Cowgirls and The Roundup. Wild times for sure.
