Other than the shirts and pants I have to iron, I live out of the dryer.

Laundry is the only chore that I do not help with. I refuse to do it.

I'll help with everything else, just not laundry.

I prefer the dishes to the laundry. I don't actually mind running the washer and dryer, it is all the folding and putting stuff up that I hate. My wife hates it too. Sometimes we'll have 2 full baskets of clean clothes that seem to empty themselves to be worn before any of them are folded and hung up. And I don't really have a problem with that. It is all of the kids clothes anyway. She hangs my pants and shirts up so I'm good.

Rarely and when I do it's either just my stuff or something like towels. My wife doesn't want me washing her clothes.

I do the towels but thats it. I hate doing that even...and I make sure I fold like shite and take my time so I dont get asked to do more Besides, thats why I built her a nice laundry room with a tv...its like buying a nice broom and dust pan....I am thoughtful. As for dishes...I cook she cleans...I cant stand cleaning and she cant stand cooking so it work. Kid unloads the dishwasher...profit

gf and I take turns. Sometimes I just rush the washer and she'll put them in the dryer, or sometimes I run a few loads through both the washer and dryer and she folds and puts away, etc... Same thing with all household chores, we divide and conquer. Much easier.

My wife will ask me to put clothes in the dryer if she's leaving and they're finishing up washing.....I try to remember but have about a 90% fail rate when it comes to actually doing it

This. I don't know. I thought I was the only one and really overly OCD about how the dishwaser is loaded. It HAS to be done a certain way.

Irks me too when someone loads a dishwasher with no rhyme or reason.

Unfortunately I do it, washer/dryer is in the basement. I'd rather walk the clothes up and down before I hear her bitch or catch a murder charge because she's uncoordinated to begin with...

We just do our own laundry. If I have a small load I'll ask him if he has anything he wants washed with it. If it's during the week and he's doing several loads of his clothes, I'll offer to make sure the last one is put in dryer(he has to go to bed earlier than me for work). That's the only household chore we share.....the rest of the inside cleaning I do. Anything related to outside not taken care of by our landscapers....he does.

I bring the laundry down and fill the machines, but I rarely fold. Can't stand it for dinner reason.
