Why am I getting all the downvotes? No one is going to visit their grandparents?

I’ve been visiting my grandparents. I deliver them groceries and then I stand in the driveway and talk to them while they stand in the doorway so they don’t leave the house and we’re staying 10 feet apart

Lost my remaining grandparents in 2018. Feel like I've matured a lot over the past couple of years and the other day I was talking about my grandpa to a friend and was thinking it would be nice to sit and chat with him again. Now I'm going to ask my mom to send me some pics of us for old times sake

All mine are dead. I wasn't very close to my mom's parents but my grandparents on my dad's side practically raised me.

My maw maw died when I was 19. Paw paw died a few years ago. He lived to be almost 100.

Well, I don't know if they still make snuff. If they do, then yeah I want them back, if they don't then I couldn't handle the complaining.

My only living grandparent is 98 and in a nursing home -- so far as far as my parents have been told, she's fine and there are no cases there. Wish I could see her -- she wouldn't know me but that's ok.

Same here. My grandpa on my mom's side was dead before I was born in 52. That grandma lived to be 97 and died in the early 90's.

On my dad's side, the old guy died when I was no more than 5 and my grandma died when I was still a teen in the 60's.

So it's been at least 25 years since I had a living grandparent. The only one I really miss is my mom's mom. She was a very good old lady and could cook up a storm and really took care of us kids when called upon to do so.

Paternal grandparents have passed but I think of them and miss them every day.

Maternal grandparents are still alive and doing well... I call them fairly often and plan to visit ASAP when it’s safe to do so.

I don’t take the luxury of having any living grandparents in my mid-30s for granted.

All of mine are long since deceased, so thanks for bringing it up.
A couple of weeks ago I came across my grandmother's old dutch oven in a closet at my dad's house. It hadn't been used in years and was in poor shape, so I took it home and restored it. The aromas coming out of that old cast iron during the restoration reminded me of her kitchen all those years ago. Now when I cook with it I can think of her in her kitchen making all those great meals.
So at least I have that going for me, which is nice.

I miss them everyday. I would be talking on the phone to my mawmaw everyday on the phone during times like this.
