How Many Men Would It Take To Kill A Silverback Gorilla

My buddy says 20 dudes. I say closer to 1000 dudes. The Gorilla is like 15 times stronger than the strongest man.
Silverback territory. No weapons just barenuckles.
Edit: no sneak attacks. Gorilla knows the man is coming and the man know the gorilla is ready. Both man and gorilla are hungry. Nobody is feeling fat and lazy after a full meal.
Edit II: were talking about the average sized man. For every Batista sized looking mother fricker you have a Sheldon Cooper but mostly dudes somewhere in between.

Are you allowed to use dead bodies or sacrifice people? I think you could do it with 20 if well planned. Mob style probably closer to 100. I assume the gorilla doesn’t realize he’s Being attacked by suicidal men

What’s the maximum number of dudes who’s coukd simultaneously lay hands on a gorilla? I’d wait for a couple dudes to get ripped to pieces then make weapons with their bones and stab the gorilla.

No it’s not. The strongest men in the world are lifting hundreds to a over thousand pounds. 15x times these numbers are in the several thousands of pounds and a gorilla isn’t pulling and definitely not pushing several thousands of pounds of anything.
When it comes to threads like this people tend to heavily exaggerate things. It’s fun to think but a gorilla isn’t the Hulk. There’s very little actual science to back up a lot of these strength claims.

What kind of dudes are we talking here? There’s a vast gap between the extremes of physical capability with men.

I said before that it all depends on the terrain. If you are in a room where they could corner the gorilla and pile on that is one thing. If you are outside where the gorilla can run, climb and such you will never catch it. It will kill a couple of men and haul arse, then kill a couple more and so on.
