Well a chimpanzee was able to rip that Connecticut lady’d hands off. A chimp weighs 35 pounds. Multiply that power by 25

Can everyone guess how I know this guy's never seen a chimp?
You know what else weighed 35 pounds?

It seems like chimps might be the worst animals to be attacked by. Whereas a bear or a big cat would just bite/claw you and possibly kill you, a chimp will just frick with you and leave you alive but disfigured. I might rather die than have my eyes, hands, face, and genitalia ripped off.

And I know what you meant. A gorilla can probably curl the weight of 3 grown men with one arm.

Some of you are grossly exaggerating the strength of gorillas. You think a gorilla can curl 750+ lbs with one arm?

I think some people in this thread are under the impression that gorillas have 8 arms and 8 legs

They have a chainsaw for a dick, too.

Some of you are grossly underestimating how powerful these animals are.

I consider a grown man to be around 200lbs. I think its definitely feasible in that

i am amazed how many people in this thread think this way

you would always be limited to the amount of people that can get close enough and get their actual hands on the gorilla. the gorilla would continue to destroy human as they come. A wild gorilla could take out the population of Georgia in a fort night.

Pretty much how all these threads go. Someone said a gorilla is 10x stronger then Halfthor (the Mountain) but if Halfthor is at least 5x stronger then a normal person then that means a gorilla is 50x stronger then a person which is laughable.

Well that a rather large person.

I’m thinking a 250lb man in the mold of an extremely athletic Defensive Lineman. Those guys are damn near built like gorillas. 3 of those type guys could immobilize one arm imo

So, a gorilla is Fivethor?

There's not enough surface area on a gorilla's body for 100k men to attack at once. I mean most of the casualties in your hypothetical would come from humans trampling each other.

The amount of men it would take to restrain a gorilla is way more than the amount that feasibly could.

He'd basically just have to lose interest in killing men.

maybe if they were all able to start on the arm without the gorilla defending itself. and thats a huge if and leaning towards no chance

if its just them in the open, no chance in hell they do it

Perhaps. But now we getting into strategy. I’m sure man would be able to figure a plan to out smart a gorilla.

But based on strength alone, I could see 3 James Harrison type guys having enough strength to hold each individual limb. Might lose a few on the way but eventually they would get hold
