Depends on how you count. If just driving through I guess about 30 states or so. If minimum means at least spend a night there then 15. Been and around and through Arkansas a lot, never stopped there overnight.

Never left La for more than 18 months or so in a stretch, but I have "lived" in 6 states for at least 2 months straight.

Damn. Here are the states I haven't been to or through:

Hawaii, Ohio, Oregon, Delaware, Vermont, Montana

Between work, being born a Masshole, rotating Christmas (MI, MA, LA) and LSU games I've been to all but those.

People will always claim to have visited more than they actually have. Only 2% have visited all 50 states, with an average of 17. Yet we are at like 12% claiming all 50, with an average of about 37. Lol.

I have traveled for work for over 20 years and my wife and I travel constantly. Some may stretch it, but I am not.

We did a New England road trip in fall of 2023. Absolutely gorgeous, would recommend it to anyone. I thought Alaska was the most beautiful place I would ever visit until I went to New England in the fall.

Visited Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

47 - i'm missing AK, HI, and RI. I have yet to make a delivery to RI and we don't get routed through there because of the tolls.

My Army SIL was stationed at JBER in Anchorage for a few years, we flew up a couple of times. On our second trip we drove the Denali highway (135 mile dirt road) and stayed at a lodge at the halfway point.

Majestic is an understatement.

This picture of a crow challenging a Bald Eagle was taken right next to the Denali Highway. The Eagle was eating the former occupant of the Beaver den.
