For our United States Postal Service, the answer is 11 days. Feeling like 1775 again.

Every year in December, we have to stop using USPS as a shipping option where I work. Their transit times are god awful, and they lose packages non stop. Obviously, I'm sure it's been way worse than usual this year.

FedEx is pretty terrible, too.

UPS is by far the most reliable of those three.

Im dealing with a similar issue. According to the tracking they’ve had my package since the 11th. Except it’s in Houston so only 5 hours away.

Recently an order arrived in Baton Rouge. Took 2 days to end up in St Francisville. It then went to Jackson Ms, then to New Orleans, and then finally 4 or 5 days later was delivered to me in St Francisville.

I have at one sitting in Provo, UT since 12/2....... Memphis and Louisville have to be 2 of the easiest places in the country to get a package to on time.

USPS is basically workfare. I tried to buy a duck stamp over the counter at the NOLA main facility downtown one day. Wish I had video of that 30 minutes so I could speed it up to the Benny Hill theme. It ended with me overhearing a talk between a manager and the women explaining what they are and they're kept in a safe but they're not there so they must have lost them.

I ordered some things through Amazon that have been delivered on time. Everything else that was supposed to be delivered has not even shipped yet.

I guess it is because "we are living in unprecedented times."

Every person with a brain knows it is peak season and that packages are going to be slow at this time. Much more than usual.

I had some of these same issues over the late summer. It's probably been in Memphis, it just finally got scanned.

It'll update the date for four days of "in transit" before they stop updating dates.

If it hasn't arrived 14 days after shipping, try to contact them. It might then magically appear at your local post office and be delivered the next day, like what happened to me one of those times this summer.

The GF had one of her packages “lost” last week.

I avoid USPS in general but especially during the holidays.

100% correct on all 3 points. USPS is losing shite l8ke crazy right now and takes forever to deliver what they don't lose.

FedEx is ridiculously slow right now, too.

UPS is running on time or ahead of schedule.

As an aside, Amazon Prime is suddenly delivering items on time again.

couldn’t stop laughing at the USPS support campaign that millions of dollars were dumped into back in September/October, that tried to convince Americans the USPS wasn’t a total shite show

the reason the usps sucls so bad now is many employees are taking time off after getting huge bonuses to "help" mail in voting via zuckerburg backed rewards programs

I'm going to have to try this.

I have something that's been in Queens, NY since December 4th.

Well, December 8th it said in transit to next facility. Since then who knows where it is.

No they’re not. Some of their PA mail had a negative time! Meaning a parcel was received back and marked on a date before it even went out. Let’s see UPS or fedex time travel like that

it is slow everywhere - in Birmingham, the USPS is short handed due to Covid illnesses and the Holidays - some peoples deliveries are 3 weeks to a month delayed - we have 3 running about 2 weeks late.

This is the slow time of the year for your gardener. Have him or his assistant take one of the estate vehicles and go get it. #StopBeingPoor
