Because here's the deal.
One date out, with his young son. One "date" at his house with my daughter and his kids. One date at my house alone. He hasn't attempted to hold my hand or kiss me, yet he texts me pretty steamy stuff.
I'm not a virgin, but I'm not a whore either.
I've been burned by jumping in to bed too soon and if protecting myself against being used again makes me sound immature, then so be it.
I just was curious what the norm is. Looks like there is none, so I'll just wait it out and see.
He says HE has too much going on to be in a relationship but it could be a potential relationship later and that he would sleep with me despite all that.

Before the first date to test for compatibility. If by chance not compatible, guess what? You save the money from being wasted on dead end date. It's fiscally responsible.

Its been anywhere from 1 date to 4 months for me. Looking back, if there isn't anything physical after a couple dates, they're not that into you. Id say 6 dates is respectable.

this is the more concerning thing. why are the kids around so soon? They shouldn't be meeting any partners until all the holes have been violated
