Don't stop driving it or it won't run by the time they hit 16.

I have had a few...I have been very blessed though and through various jobs and personal driving, I have driven over 1,000,000 miles since the early 90's accident free. Trust me, had some close calls but I drive very conservatively...I normally go over the speed limit, but withing 5-10 mph. I don't gun my engine, don't tailgate, try to project what scenarios might unfold, just being observant is key. In turn, most my car's top 200k with little repair. I have had very good experience with back to back KIA Forte. Highly recommend them. But please drive safe and don't abuse your car as well and you should be able to get a lot of life out of them.

Couldn’t afford to let it sit? At least just hold on to it. Turn plate in. Get rid of insurance. Start it up every now and then. And sit in it.

4, never owned a new car.

Dad traded the 92 Le Baron convertible my sister drove in high school for a 95 grand am that I drove in high school through gradschool until around 2007.

Then I bought a 2004 F-150 xlt with the suicide doors and kept it until 2012.

Went to a 2010 King Ranch until last year.

Now a 2017 King Ranch.

50’s.

Probably owned 25 in total as well as a half a dozen motorcycles.

I don’t keep them long. It’s why I never buy new.
