For a 7pm game on Saturday I will likely wake up, eat breakfast and drink a screwdriver around 1030-1100 am. Probably pace myself and drink all day until after the game. That’s a long day of drinking. To many other variables to say how many beers.
Do we win or lose? What’s the weather like?

How many you got?

4.2% alcohol sitting at a bar... 17 pints in 4ish hours...but that hasn't happened in years. Beer makes me feel awful.
I can't tell you the last time I've had more than 5 or 6 pints.
On a real good drinking night, if I keep the food to a minimum and we're cooking and cutting up, I can finish one bottle of bourbon and give the second a helluva go.
As long as I keep adding water to it, I'm fine. The second I'm drinking whiskey straight, I'm gonna push it too fast and get sick

We talking domestic light beer or real beer?
Posted on 3/25/20 at 11:08 pm to Pettifogger
After thinking about this it is kinda unsettling.
If we are talking bud light as many as my stomach could fit over whatever period of time. It’s almost impossible for me to get legitimately drunk drinking something like that.
I drink five or six high gravity tallboys on an average Wednesday night.

Back in my youth, my record was 37. Nowadays, a six pack will usually do me in.

Smart man. Steel Reserve is a great value.

Scofflaw Basement is my go-to. The 6-packs of 12 oz cans typically go for $12.99. In the not too distant past they started selling 12-packs of tallboys for $17.99. It doesn’t make sense. I don’t understand how or why. I just hope they keep doing it.
I keep Tito’s and Four Roses on hand.
And Lagavulin 16 when I want to treat myself to something nice.

Depends on the type of beer.
18% IPA or 4% BMC type pilsner?

Christ Almighty, where are you finding 18% beer?

Shiiiiit. Let's go.

I think you meant 8%, because I doubt you want to drink an 18% beer.
There are barley wines that might go that high but... they are what they are.

Bayou Teche Brass Techeticles or Dogfish Head 120 minute. Both 18% Ipa's.... 1 or 2 of these and I'm good. Theyre good occasionally- not a regular in the rotation

Fair enough. I stand corrected.

Personally, I prefer an 8% hazy dipa , but there's a time and place for everything
