well the OP doesn't address how long we have, whether or not we can cut them up, whether or not we can boil them, etc

I looked up the math/conversion metrics as well 
The average OT poster does not make in an hour/potentially a day/ or even a week of work what any average person could eat in an hour of $50 bills for equal compensation.
I mean that is a lot of money just sitting there. I would be tempted to see how much I could eat. I think I could try for a while but I would have to at least eat minimum 25 to justify my shame/investment.
25 - 1250
50 - 2500
100 - 5000 - dont think I could eat more than a 100 and at 5K I would have to walk away and buy some kind of colon cleanse

twas but a simple hypothetical, but ok I'll address it further.
-You may drink any beverage of your choosing
-You have a time limit of 1 hour
-No utensils, just your hands. If you want to tear them up into small portions or just crumble and eat whole, that's your choice.
-This is in one sitting- basically you can't get up and go to the bathroom, puke, take a breather, etc. You sit in a chair with the bucket of bills at your side.
-There is nothing else to aid you in this process other than your drink of choice. No boiling, no putting condiments on them, putting them in a sandwich, etc.

I'm eating all of them and then eating Taco Bell and drinking a 5th of brown liquor to have combo of Mexican food/liquor shits in no time. shite it all into a bucket, rinse the poop off the bills and make 2x money.

It's not worth it. If I ate 10 dirty $100 bills, it would be a $1000. The time I'd miss from work being out sick would not even be covered by that.

Hypothetically, doing this on a Saturday would be different. With $100 bills, I would consider it. Eating 20 $50 bills seems a bit much.

Technically, you'll get credit from the bank if you have 51% of a bill remaining, so you don't need the entire bill. You can actually get credit for less than 50% of a bill, but that is hard to do and the Treasury is involved.
