How long would it take you to plan a wedding?

I mean the actual planning. Researching venues, calling them, and booking them. Researching bands, calling them, and booking them.

Maybe add a day or two if people don't respond or pick up the phone. Though I'd argue that's a reason to move on to the next in line.

It would take me however long it takes to drive to the courthouse.

About 4 minutes.

20 minutes.

Go to the Justice of the Peace and keep the extra money for something important.

You have to do it at least that far out if you plan on using popular venues and vendors. The actually "planning" doesn't take a year.

Just my opinion, but you aren't researching all of that in a day unless you're just going with the first people you look at for each service.

However long it takes to send a group text.

Just go to the justice of the peace. Use the money for a honeymoon to frick around the world instead of paying for a party for people you don't like.

Courthouse is pretty quick
