How long will we wear masks?

Now that it has quietly slipped into a nationwide mandate, how long will this last? We all have had to suck it up lately but they are an annoyance and should be backed out of our lives ASAP instead of “accepting this as the new normal”.
I hope we can start seeing some steps taken to get back to the real normal, especially with a vaccine on the horizon. This year has been ridiculous.

I have a medical condition that does not allow me to wear a mask. Due to HIPPA restrictions, I cannot discuss my condition.

Are the masks really that big of an annoyance? I dint love wearing one, but they don’t even bother me anymore now that I’m used to them.
To answer the question, they’ll likely be required until we have a firmer grip on the virus. Whether that be a vaccine, proven treatment, or something else that is discovered to mitigate its spread and impact. I dint think anyone can reasonably say when that will be.

In all honesty, if businesses would nut up and stop requiring people to wear them in the stores, it would end quick. Go look at the entrance of Walmart and see how many people walking up to the store that don't have one on or leaving that immediately rip it off.

It’ll never go away because most Americans are idiots. Now that the population has shown how big of puppets they are, they’ll be mask mandates every flu season at a minimum.

If you have a condition so bad you can’t even wear a mask for a little bit, maybe you shouldn’t leave the house at all...since it seems you would be most vulnerable if you got COVID

Umm it's due to the 1st Amendment that you don't have to discuss your condition....it has nothing to do with HIPPA.
Jesus...I wonder how long people are going to show their ignorance on HIPPA. Hell most actual covered entities struggle to understand the regulation but now every Tom, Dick, and Harry are damn experts
