I’m waiting for them to take down all of George Washington’s statues and rename everything that has George’s name on it.
Little known fact is that all 13 colonies had prominent blacks who owned slaves back in the day. They actively bought and sold and traded in the slave market of their own people.
William Ellison owned 63 slaves in South Carolina. He was one of almost 200 black slave owners in South Carolina.
Blacks owning and trading in the slavery of their own people is not an excuse for white people. But, The rewriting of history is pathetic.

Jackson was actually a winner with accomplishments to his name and not a traitor unlike the Confederates. His statue can stay.
