For anything reasonable, our commutes will be 1 hour one way and I’m not sure if that’s sustainable.
Mine is 40 min in the morning and anywhere from 50 to an hour 10 in the evenings. Definitely hurts realizing you lose 2 hours of your day driving. It is nice listening to podcasts and drinking coffee on the drive in, but the drive home will suck no matter what.

35 minutes morning and afternoon. Worth it to not live in a city or subdivision.

15-20 min. Listen to sports talk radio, drink a cup of coffee, mix in a few morning devotionals some days, and on the way home I'll catch up with people I need to call. It's great.

10-15 min depending on traffic

45 mins in morning, 1 hr in the afternoon. Traffic makes me want to end myself almost daily

Mandeville to the west bank. About an hour with traffic. Not bad. I don't know what life is like NOT having an hour commute. I don't mind it though.
I have a friend whose dad did this trip for like 20 years. But he was in construction so he would get up at 4 a.m. and was off by like 2:30 everyday. Dudes always seemed super content.

My commute is just under 3 minutes

0.25 miles, 5 minutes in the morning. Two in rush hour.

20-60 minutes one way (12 miles). Afternoons are usually far worse than mornings.
I can't fricking wait to retire and move out of BR.

Mine's right at 45 minutes round trip. Very easy drive and I have 2 alternate routes that add less than 10 minutes if I have to take one.

Well, you won't have to commute when you retire but I understand

I haven't worked at a place that had set office hours in almost 20 years. My current and former job is sort of "make your own schedule" within reason. It still has to be mostly during normal hours but I've been working from 7-4 for many years and traffic is quite a bit better.

30 minutes if no laws are broke. 25 minutes if I break a few laws along the way.

30-50 minutes depending on traffic but i work in the thick of the ship channel. I rather not live anywhere near here.
