How many people are they willing to lose? I understand as one person I mean nothing to Spotify, but I've had a subscription for 3 or so years, and I emailed them letting them know if they drop Rogan, I drop them.

I'm not saying he should be canceled as this is a slippery slope that has no end like the other person said. Where will it end?

Having said that, I bet there is some poor junior financial analyst on the Spotify FP&A team that's writing SQL scripts and building a financial model this weekend to figure out how many premium Spotify subscribers listen to Joe Rogan regularly and what other kind of content (music/podcasts) they consume, and modeling the probability of how many customers they would lose if they end up having to cut Rogan.

Won't be long. Once the sponsors start to pull out, it's over for anyone who gets involved in a situation like this.

I don't think he makes it to the end of the month. I have a Spotify account that I use to listen to obscure artist that get very little, if any play time on radio. I like Rogan, but I 'am not a regular listener, If someone ask me to listen to a certain podcast of his, I will, but I' am not leaving Spotify if they fire him.

But a black mayor can call whites crackers, apologize, and we all move on. Enough of the hypocrisy and double standard from the left

What’s happening to Rogan isn’t about what he said or didn’t say. It’s about showing *you* that if you challenge the Left, the elites, the media, etc “the establishment” you will be punished.

Even the Rock has turned his back on Rogan now:

Every single one of those clips was taken out of context. Joe doesn't just throw that word around he only uses it in context of a story that being told.

Here is a clip from the removed Theo Von episode where not only Joe uses it but Theo does also. It's is part of the story and not done with any racist or malicious intent.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CePAOAV4KpI&ab_channel=JREClips

The more troubling thing for Joe in all of this is the Planet of the Ape joke. There really is no defending himself there, it was 100% a racist thing to say and is very problematic.

Having said that if Spotify removes him I will be cancelling my Spotify subscription that I have had since the service launched.

I don't particularly listen to Rogan or follow this whole story too much. Not that I dislike him or anything, but I'm not going to go out of my way to listen to him unless it's a guest that I'm a big fan of.

What's up with no more full episodes being on YouTube. When did that happen. Or rather how late am I.

I hate Spotify for non-Rogan reasons and never use it. Just like a friend of mine.

But my friend let ten hours of Rogan's show play w/o listening to it, so Spotify would credit another listener.
