First year in our neighborhood too.

We’ve heard from multiple people that the previous owners of our house were really wierd and kinda avoided the rest of the community.

Lots of kids on the road in the area and not a single person has shown up here! Lol

Previous owners must have been terrible! Lol

I have a pile of wrappers sitting next to me on my night stand.

I kept begging all of the kids to take more than 1 piece.

we bought too much as usual.

I don't do that. Let them trunk or treat or starve.

Have a lot left. We had 1/2 the amount of people this year as last year. I'm thinking the weather chased a lot away.

At first I was handing out 1-3 at a time, then 2 of my neighbors came by and dropped off their candy because no one was going down the side street and they were going out so then I became loaded with candy and started handing out 2 handfuls at a time.

I gave up and my wife took over. I was only out there for about an hour and we probably had 200 kids. Add in before and after I’d say by the end of the night we will have close to 1000 people come by the house.

Where you live?
Bradenton, FL is Mecca For retirees. So the demographic is an older population. Still there are plenty of schools, filled with plenty of children. Just not many trick or treaters in my neighborhood. On my whole street, only about 2-3 houses, max, with any young children. Rest of neighbors either older retirees or snowbirds not yet returned from their up north summer roosts.

I had 95 so far...

We got 6 cases (36 bars in a case) of full size Hershey bars and Reese cups—I have around 100-120 kids every year...about half come from other areas, and we are glad to help those kids have a good Halloween.

Trick or treating just started here. So far 3 kids....that happened to be the kids that live across the street.

We hand out candy at my work. I brought two small bags and one big arse bag. I was being conservative early because I've run out before and feel like an a-hole. Then I started loosening the candy bag strings, and started to get low, so I went back to being a candy miser. Two pieces each. Now it seems as though the kids are trick-or-treating in their neighborhoods now, so I've got a decent bit of extra.

Sweet Tarts
Gobstoppers
Laffy Taffy (pink and yellow)
Hershey's
Reese's cups

Trick or treating has fallen off a cliff this year. Went from kids getting imported in last year to next to dead this year.

I must suddenly live in the projects and didn't realize it.

Halloween gives undesirables a chance to peep inside at all my cool shite. I ain’t down with that. I chain my pitbull to a tree in the front yard and turn the lights out.
