Lived here for 10 years now. Near SMHS. We've loved it. Never had any issues here. There also seems to be some prettier women moving here judging by the new talent walking dogs. Never a bad thing.

I'm aware.

The mall of LA is still the "new mall"

The HPL bridge is still the "old bridge"

Dad still runs to the K&B, Eckerd's and the Gulf station.

BR don't change brah

There is no area in BR where you are not a wrong turn, and two or three blocks from somewhere you probably don’t want to be.

Imagine what you'd see in White Oak Landing.

The streets that are close to SMHS and lake at white oak are good homes.

Lived on Bull Run from 2001 to 2012. Was good for us then. Bull Run was the last street before you got into White oak Landing I think. I would think it is still pretty nice living there.

Nah. The homes are newer, but that's it. The sheer size of the homes, properties, trees, space between homes, and neighborhood layout are way different.

And, that's not a knock on Lake at White Oak. It is a very nice neighborhood.

Shenandoah is a nice, but dated subdivision. It’s bordered by a shite show to the north (O’Neal Ln). The other surround neighborhoods are good

The homes can be a bit dated, but are solid with good sized yards. Still under the main control of the EBR Metro Council, the Mayor and the EBR Public School System, but once we get incorporation for St. George and then later form our own ISD things will get better.

Lake at White Oak is still great. I go fishing at their lakes once in a while and it's relaxing & peaceful. Good place to raise a family.

Shenandoah Elementary is a very good elementary school, but once you hit middle school you've gotta take the private school route.

Shenandoah is full of group homes. That's how you know an area is declining.

I lived in Shenandoah until about 5 years ago. It was a great place. I was near the elementary school and park so we always walked and went to the park with our kids.

I would recommend researching any house you consider for rentals nearby. On some streets, for whatever reason, there were a lot of rental homes. This was over towards O’Neal lane. You don’t want to live by renters.

Shenandoah middle school is decent for BR standards so that neighborhood shouldn’t be going shite at an alarming rate if that keeps up.

This is not true - Parkview Oaks Elementary received a blue ribbon and the school and neighborhood is steadily crapping out

yes, this!!! I wonder how many neighborhoods group homes have ruined - Sherwood Forest was the first one I witnessed

Check out 70810. I moved into Oak Hills last year and it’s a great neighborhood. A lot of old retirees and young families and plenty of them walking the streets every day. Crime is extremely low and you’re right next to both St Jude and St George if you plan on sending your kids to private school.
