How is it possible for I-10 to be a parking lot every goddamn day?

Will never figure out how people crash on I-10 in Houston when it is a straight line from San Antonio to Baton Rouge.

Yes, I’m shocked that people find a way to collide on a road with almost 30 lanes of traffic in some stretches alternating between full stop and 70+ MPH.

There was a high speed chase about 30 mins ago right there headed west towards spillway so that may be why.

Is it almost warranted to take 190? Because either way you will still be taking the same amount of time or better

Not planning for the future

Not even reacting to it.

Comfortably numb

Man frick the interstate. Was going to BR yesterday late afternoon.. First, I was about 4 or 5 cars behind a two car wreck that happened on the intercoastal, which is already a shite show.

Then there was an 18 wheeler stalled on the bridge going east.

Coming back, around the college exit on I10W it started slowing down, was tap and brake from there to the i1 split

Coming from where I am coming from, the bad thing about that shite show is that you never know what time to leave to be somewhere at a certain time. If HWY 1 is clear and everything is moving smooth, it takes about 25mins for me to get to the Mississippi River bridge. I've made it in 18-19 mins at times.. So to get where I am going in BR it takes about 30 mins.

Yesterday it took me 52 mins to get where I was going and almost an hr to get home.

There have been times it has taken me about 2 hrs to get home.

I am ranting on, but yesterday there was some teenage bitch who was talking on her phone while I was trying to get over to get in the lane where I needed to exit. Put the blinker on and she came flying and slowed down just enough to where I couldn't get over. As it got closer to the exit, I slowed down to let her pass me, the bitch passes me up, then gets into the lane I was in, right before the exit split. Still on her phone just flapping away.

I still love the story when I lived in Lafayette, I was going back to Lafayette from my parent's house in BR.

11pm. On a Sunday night.

Dead Stopped traffic at Essen, all the way over the bridge. 2.5 hours to get from BR to Lafayette.

No events. No LSU sports. Nothing.

11pm. Sunday. 45 min drive to 2.5 hours. Ridiculous.

I always take 90 when traveling between houston and Nola. 90 is the de facto BR Loop. I doubt I save time but at least I’m moving.

Houston to San Antonio is another shite show. Specifically Katy to Sealy. There’s frick nothing over there. It’s wide open land with nothing to cause problems yet there’s always massive traffic. Sometimes it’s endless construction and sometimes it’s retards who can’t drive in a straight line. And once you’re through that mess, it seems every Mexican woman who owns a minivan is chilling in the left lane, going 55 and content that there’s a mile long string of traffic behind her.
