I mean, for fricks sake, we built a god damned disposable skyscraper with the first stage having double the thrust of the shuttle just to move something the size of a couple of telephone booths to the moon.

But yeah, we can get a 5 foot DIY rocket to do it. We gotz that smart phone tech.

I would like to apologize for my luna statements last night. I was randomly googling stuff about it.

Thinking clearly today I should have know that those numbers didnt make sense.

It takes quite a bit of fuel to overcome gravity and make it to orbit




You'll need additional fuel to break the earths orbit. Also, getting to the moon will require some directional control and proper timing of the launch. I guess you wouldn't care if it crashes once it gets to the moon or that adds additional control issues.
