down the street. It’s essential in a hybrid since it isn’t even running half the time. MPG difference is almost 10.

this is a thorn in my side every single hurricane season. it's not super fun. and it kinda irks me considering i live in Texas. I basically have to drive 30-40 minutes to a Buc-ees. none of the local gas stations have it. I've tried the apps. I've tried calling. It does not exist in my area.

seems like back home in BR it's every other gas station.

I'm west of Fort Worth and all of the Murphy's gas stations seem to have ethanol free. Might check with Murphy's in neighboring towns if it's a local ordinance to not sell cornless gas.

There is a method to remove ethanol from your fuel. Basically you pour a cup of water in with 5 gallons of ethanol gas, shake it up real good, hang your jug upside down for awhile and then drain off the water/ethanol. The ethanol binds with the water and settles to the bottom of the gas can. I've never tried this method, but it's an option if the inconvenience of finding it is more than the inconvenience of going through the process.

Such a load of crap that they put ethanol in most of the fuel, it's up towards the top of my list of things that really PMO. That stuff starts clogging your pilot jet in < month. I bought a new bike when I was TDY for work in San Diego, there was nowhere around that sold ethanol free. Pretty sparce up in Washington state, too. When you can find it, it's 's over 6$ a gallon.

Have four within a mile of each other. I always get it for my boat and lawnmower equipment. I don’t use it while traveling though.

There are at least two places within five miles of my home that carry it.

Not hard for me. Six blocks away the service station/mechanic shop sells it on the corner of Carrollton and Banks.

I just wanted to add that it’s extremely hard for me to take a swig of ethanol gas while filling up. I realize it’s gas but that ABV % is extremely hard to ignore.

In OKC about every gas station has ethanol free gas. Maybe some of the really small mom and pops can’t do both but a vast majority are primary reg gas not fake gas.

Example, local On Cue’s - which are all over - the pumps have 6 options.

Reg gas
Mid grade gas
Premium gas
E10
E85
Diesel (not all)

If you’re in an area that has any kind of boating activities, it’s easy to find pure gas.

There’s also an app.
