Well, um, actually a pretty nice little day, we're going to go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed, Bath, & Beyond, I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

Well, currently it goes something like this...

Wake up around 5:30
Take dog for a walk
Wake wife and try to sex her up before kids get up. Get denied, get in shower.
Make sure gets are up from wife waking them.
Make breakfast, check work emails.
Get kids off to school, try again to sex wife up as she's getting out of shower. Batting .500 there.
Make coffee.
Go downstairs to work/goof off on the internet.
Work straight through the day until around 3 or 4.
Take dog for a walk, weather permitting.
Cook dinner, take kids to practices, etc.
Scroll streaming services never deciding what to watch until I fall asleep.

6:00 a.m. Wake up to supermodel giving me a wakeup knobber
7:00 a.m. Gourmet breakfast fixed by my personal chef
8:00 a.m. Go to the airport, hop in my private jet to fly to the Bahamas for the day
6:00 p.m. Return home, cruise by the Porsche dealership to buy a new car
8:00 p.m. Supermodel girlfriend's hot volleyball playing cousin comes by for a threesome

The Reality:

4:20 a.m. Loud arse obnoxious cat wakes me up for food
5:00 a.m. Trash truck comes by, waking me up again
7:00 a.m. Get out the jump box to jump the piece of crap car I drive
8:00 a.m. Buy gas but cannot pay at the pump because no credit left on my secured credit card
9:00 a.m. Arrive at work, got a new mop and mop bucket to use!
11:00 a.m. Take a leak, look down at my small dick and realize that God is not merciful
12:00 noon Lunch break, damn those lunchables are delicious
5:00 p.m. Get off work, car wont' start and I forgot to bring the jump box, someone comes by and jumps me while many of my co-workers gawk
6:00 p.m. Dinner, Morton's Pot Pie, only costs $1
7:00 p.m. Dog heaves it up in the house, cleanup ensues
8:00 p.m. Can't watch TV, cable got cutoff when I forgot to pay the bill
9:00 p.m. Fall asleep on couch playing Suduko

Clinic days:
6:30ish wake up, shower, get ready
7: wake the kid up, feed him, watch news +/- coffee
8ish - leave for work, round on patients if I have any.
8:30- browse TD while I make my patients wait
4:00-4:45- head home.
5:00-7:00 - play with kid, dinner, bedtime
7:00-10:30 - whatever else with the wife.

OR days:
6:00 - wake up, shower, get ready leave.
7:00 - until cases done...sometimes 1-2pm...sometimes 6,7,8,9pm.

Home with the same after routine depending on when I make it home.

When I'm on call, same routine except adding in extra time for consults either before or after clinic/OR, or in the middle of the day as time allows. Plus weekend work.

I get really annoyed when this happens. She should know I prefer to sleep until 7 by now.

Get up around seven
Get outta bed around nine
And I don't worry about nothin' no
'Cause worryin's a waste of my, time

The show usually starts around seven
We go on stage at nine
Get on the bus at eleven
Sippin' a drink and feelin' fine

Yeah. This working at home has its benefits, but it has me driving all over the country. I live 60 miles from my office and before would drop off the older son on the way to work and pick him up on the way home. Now I have to zigzag back and forth all over the damn world.

She does all the other housework, grocery shopping and cooking. She's a teacher at a school 45 minutes from the house so she has to be out the door at 6am each morning and is back home about 6pm
