I'm wearing a slim fit suit right now. Sorry I have a fantastic body.
I thought slim =/= the skinny fit. Slim is not baggy at all, but not tight.
'
I guess Im thinking of "modern fit", and the skinny is "slim fit".

im pretty sure michael strahan can afford a 100% custom made suit. of course everyone wants a properly fitting suit. anything else looks terrible

Modern and Athletic Fit are the same thing, I think.
And you may be right about Skinny v Slim.
Fwiw, I have a big butt and good size legs. I don't have trouble fitting into the Slim Fit.

i cant by an off the rack slim fit suit and have it tailored to my body.

Oh I see what you mean. I don't think the ones in the OP are skinny though are they? Skinny suits are ridiculous in the professional world. Slim looks good if you aren't a fat arse.

I rock slim fit, not skinny, suits everyday for work. The only problem I've run in to is that no matter what brand/quality of the suit, the crotch wears out on my pants. I don't have a huge package so that's not the issue. I think it has to do with me subconsciously rubbing my balls at my desk all day.

it depends on the body type and age. if you're overweight and 60, it's a really bad look. if you're 35, tall and thin, it may work.
if the suit is super skinny, then it's not ok under any circumstances unless you have the gay.

Must be a nightmare. I bet a Loro Piana costs about 20k

Strahan's suit fit is perfect and not like the super slim tapered fit in the OP's.
That's the fit men should strive for. Middle of the raod. Not super slim hipster and not potato sack baggy.

also skinny is not slim. They are different. Look at jeans, for example.
skinny...terrible
slim...look nice if you aren't fat

Yeah, at JC Penny. You're not finding Loro Piana there.

I work for a publically traded commercial insurance brokerage in Nashville and we have a lot of younger employees who wear similar fits. They are taken seriously.
Mine are slim fit, but not to the extent of the OP. The taper at the bottom is what makes it look bad IMO.
