I know people disagree but you make all drugs legal. I know it isn't a fix all problem, but the first thing that needs to be done is to break up the gang activity and the gang's need to recruit young teenagers to do their dirty work.

I’m not sure anymore that it is a good idea for government to execute citizens.

Lessen the non violent laws
Tighten, and I mean dramatically toughen the remaining penalties. I liked the 4 tier strategy of:
1) Training and service hours
2) Corporal Punishment and service hours
3) Banishment
4) The rope
Reform welfare to where it’s more expensive to have more kids. Basically make a one child policy with free hysterectomy/vasectomy after your first child if you’re in welfare.

I’ll bet you this. There’s enough people out there with a belly full of this crap that if everyone would agree to just look the other way for a month or so, this problem would disappear. Nothing like a good purge to fix that which ails you.
On a serious note, don’t think the cops don’t know who these bad characters are. They know, but I’m convinced they’re being handcuffed to do anything about it. This is gang crap. They already know who they are. What they really need is a task force to wipe it off the streets of the city. Or not, and watch BR burn and people with the means to leave, have a mass exodus and leave this city holding the big doo doo bag.

It’s a multi faceted issue
policing -Nola has about 500’too few police
Support form the DA - the da needs to stop letting criminals go
Judicial sentencing - sentencing needs to be more punitive
All of this will not happen under the current mayor or any of the candidates that are being mentioned for the mayors race.

Go back to anti gang units and stop and frisk policies.
Get rid of bail reform policies
Felon in possesion of a firearm crimes should be prioritized and prosecution expedited.
Enforce three strikes penalties.
In short go back to law enforcement before antifa and wokeism.

Neuter all murderers and folks who live in housing projects. If you can't afford children or depend on others for subsistence, you you shouldn't reproduce.
