Water pik.
I wait a couple of moments and then use the appropriate device for rinsing my teeth.
One hygienist says that I should do the water pik first, but another says that doing it after makes better sense.
Still beats sucking on the faucet. Or do you actually mean that you catch the water in mid stream?
Hopefully?

I was a face to faucet guy but my wife thinks that’s the most disgusting thing ever which is news to me? So I started doing post brush mouthwash and not even rinsing with water. I just spit the mouthwash out.

I bring my mouth to everything I put in it.

I take to lid off the shaving cream and fill that up.

Spit in the sink and get the next sip of coffee usually within 5 to 10 minutes.

I like to rinse with orange juice

Believing the fluoride in the toothpaste has lingering effects, I just spit it out, wipe my lips, and do not rinse.

Mouthwash, and then rinse that out with a quick swig directly from the faucet.

Why would I even need to rinse my mouth out after brushing?
It feels fresher than it did before brushing, so why frick with that?

If the water pik gets particles of food out of the way that are lodged in the teeth, it makes sense to do that first. Your brush can then scrub the teeth instead of gliding across lodged food particles.
