If they dont complain or pat themselves on the back I see no reason to be upset with others propping them up. When they do it themselves its nauseating

Every doctor’s office in my town now has a yard sign out front stating “Heroes Work Here”

Hell don’t choose to be a nurse if you don’t want to be around sick folks.

Like Chef said, this is literally their job. It's like going into the military but when a war breaks out all the Marines start crying and sobbing on camera.

And some of them have said " it's like a war". Bitch you get to drive your Infinity home every night.

Nurses working in Covid units are like firemen walking into burning buildings. No amount of training makes them ready for walking into this mess.

I know three locally that have contracted the virus and have had to quarantine at home.

I also know over 60s that are working their shifts.

Jealousy is never a good look, OP.

My wife is a nurse. Hospital workers aren’t much different than any other employment sector. Many have been laid off and hours cut because hospital census is down.

But they are in a place with a higher risk so I respect their choice to continue to work with an elevated risk.

The ones that are quite annoying are the Karen’s out there on social media talking about how they're fighting the Vietnam war. That’s not all of them.

But I’m not surprised. Men tend to go to work and do their job and then go home.

Women tend to cry for attention constantly and break their arms patting themselves on the back.

Did you know men are doctors and nurses too?

Where does your wife work? Because my wife is also a hospital employee and she’s been telling me the census has been rising dramatically the last few weeks.

No. No it’s not. One has a less than 1% death rate for healthy people. Another is vastly more dangerous.

Do you expose that shite to yourself when you go to work...?

Lots of people work at hospitals that are also exposed that aren't nurses.

I have two or three I’m friends with on Facebook that think they deserve a Medal of Honor for working. It’s comical.

Good Lord dude. This is exactly what I’m talking about.

Worst case scenario for the fireman is the building collapses on him and hells fire burns him alive or the smoke suffocates him to an agonizing and painful death:

Worst case scenario for the nurses is a fever for a couple days and two weeks at home with pay.

Let’s not even get into the actual courage and strength it takes to breach and clear a burning building.

Literally all of their training makes them ready to treat sick people.

Two nurses come to mind

First one is at a drive thru testing facility and posts a billion “look at me...I’m a hero!” Threads

Second one works the corona ICU. I didn’t know she was in the trenches until The Advocate article came out and it dropped her name. She’s just quietly doing her job and probably too exhausted to actually get on social media in her limited free time.

The second one has my deepest respect...
