How do you get a cashiers check with no bank acct, only cash ?

we are trying to get a cashiers check for a real estate transaction ( a cash sale). So we have to convert a few thousand dollars cash that needs to be put into the form of a cashier's check.
But we have no local bank account so no local bank to go to. The banks will not take our cash unless we have a bank acct.
what other ways are there to get a cashier's check then?
ETA: problem solved, gonna do a cash transaction with seller with a notary

Money order? I have a great aunt and uncle, who are old as hell.. Who doesn't have a bank account, every month they have to go get money orders to pay their utility bill & car insurance..

I think they have them at Winn-Dixie, for those who still has a Winn-Dixie close to them.

Are you using a closing agent?
Just have it wired, if so

They only go up to $1k so you'll have to get a few of them. But this might be your only option.

I'm assuming you don't have a bank account at all, not just local. If that's the case, then you have no option but to open a bank account locally. If you have an out of state account, then you should still be able to wire the money.
It just baffles me how many people are in this situation with no local bank.

Good chance the title company won't allow this bc of money laundering regulations.

Thanks everyone. The buyer agreed that cash was fine so we will go with cash in hand.
There is no agent or anyone to transfer or wire money to. It is a simple property(land and camp) sale with no financing. The rest of the house price will be rendered in a cash at the title change.
We will simply meet the seller at a notaries office tomorrow and and then at the title office a few days later.

Not likely. We can prove where our cash came from. We just sold gram's house and got mom's life insurance and such. Nothing sketchy about the cash on hand.

I am not sure why any legit bank would not do this if you bring in cash...
