In general, private school teachers make about 2/3 of public school teachers here and a number of privates will reach out to existing faculty for people they know who are looking for positions before they get to the point where they circulate want ads.

The OP’s grammar is probably better than many of the current college graduates. Besides, proper grammar is now considered racist by some of the Ivy League schools.

A neighbor started out EBRP mandatory Daycare for two years and hated it. The person had to teach the kids things that their parents should be teaching them such as what soap and a wash cloth is used for. That took 80% of their time and only 20% was used to teach the mandatory daycare kids.

The person then got enough experience to get hired in Livingston Parish. According to this person it is 100% better. Parents are involved and he can actually teach kids lesson plans.
