The thing is that the rewards of a loving family life are powerful too and I think if some of the social program disincentives to work are weaned, those rewards can start to be recognized more. I've seen them recognized recently to some extent.

Sometimes I wonder how much of a difference it would have made if, when the suburbs were coming up after WWII (Levittowns and the like), they had not flat out refused to sell to minority couples. Things might have progressed a bit differently

It will fix itself in next couple hundred years. You have to understand the way we live is unnatural, and so alien to the way of life we evolved from.

If 2 feet = 2000 years, and 4feet the earliest writings of the Bible. Homo sapiens have lived for 100ft, and homo erectus, who used fire, lived in tribes, could speak, and sail 750 ft.

Our ancestors established a culture of kin based relationships for over 1 million years, now in the last 100 years we have western radical individualism. This may be the path needed to become a future society, but it’s going to be a rough transition.
