When I went to OLOL, I tried to figure how many others I was going to pay for that day.

OLOL is always overrun by charity cases.

That would make sense because I believe they are Christian based in their mission to help the poor and needy as well as the insured.

Source: Been giving blood regularly since a friends daughter had a terrible car accident in 2001 and there was a blood drive for her. She recovered but I still give a few times a year.

Plus it’s healthy to force your body to make fresh blood.

OLOL if you want Staph
Happened to my dad there. He also had a TIA there bc after a surgery they didn't replenish his blood enough or something along those lines. Great place!

Br general is the best run but probably somewhat to do with the cases and situations..

Olol seems to do well emergent trauma and I can attest to that but the riff raff make the place miserable to experience

I’ve had a great experience at the children’s er as well

OLOL in Walker. It’s not attached to a hospital so if someone needs admittance, you will be transported by ambulance. But they are competent and quick there vs Ochsner O’Neal where one will sit for hours behind those with stubbed toes or frequent fliers. Then be sent home even though they say you are almost septic. OLOL Walker was spot on 2x and did good work.

Glad you provided supporting evidence for your opinion

That was like 8 or 10 years ago. Also, I'm not a doctor, shithead.

Also, it wasn't an opinion. They told us what happened, I just can't remember the details.

So.

Where does the old stuff go? I don’t tend to bleed all day long.

Spleen and liver take care of that.

Oh God, yes, the riff raft. You’d think you are walking through the ghetto. Dumbest thing ever to close EKL. Then all the medicaid could go there.

Currently sitting in BRG/Bluebonnet and it has gone well. Not a trauma, though.

In the past year I have been to ERs at OLOL/Walker, OLOL/Essen, Ochsner on O’Neal.

So far, OLOL/Walker has been the best ER experience, with admit to Gonzales (love that hospital). Walker also has/had an excellent sandwich place.

ETA: just noted you are in AP…definitely go to St Elizabeths. My parents both had long stays there last year. The staff and environment are completely different from OLOLBR.

Ochsner was ok from a treatment perspective. Just kind of old and rundown.

OLOL/Essen both ER and inpatient was the absolute worst. Will not darken that door again, unless maybe to deal with a gunshot.
