Yup. You can even get arrested in some states for driving in cold, snowy conditions

Imagine being stuck inside because you'll get fined if you leave. Lmao.

Cold weather coping on this site is hilarious

The comparison of hot and humid to things being snowed and iced in. Hot and humid is an inconvenience but you can still do things. When everything is iced over and there’s sno everywhere, you physically can’t do things. There is a physical barrier preventing you from doing things.

You can also go sit outside when it's hot and humid and live, you can actually die just sitting in freezing weather without some sort of heat or clothing

Winter in the north is more bearable than a south Louisiana summer, IMO.

Yeah, there’s never shitty weather down south.

There are places that have better year around weather than others, etc. And in Louisiana, outside of Summer you really don't know what type of weather you are going to get, but I tell you this. I much rather what we have than to have cold weather from October to mid-April consistently.

I am a cold natured person so the less cold days there are the happier I am..

THe frick? Go to Las Vegas in mid August and just sit outside all day long , see how long you live when it's 128 degrees out.

Agree. Then you get northern summers and fall, which are awesome.

The difference is that the heat and humidity, even the mosquitos, don't bother me all that much. It can be uncomfortable, but I'm still fine and functioning. True cold is painful. You feel it in your bones and joints.

Some states have different levels of snow emergencies

Level 1…2…3

Only emergency vehicles can drive under a level 3 for example.

Ohio and Michigan are two examples

It's nowhere as miserable as the South. Spend a winter in Northern Michigan.

So basically a state of emergency or curfew? Like they also declare in the South for inclement weather

How often does it actually get to 128 degrees? How often does it actually freeze?
