It’s a front for cartels. Money laundering

Most the ones in kenner taste like they threw a El Charrito TV dinner in the microwave then dumped it on a plate and charged you $10 for it. I gave up on Mexican restaurants around here because they all suck.

Ruston only has two Italian restaurants, and that’s if you count Rotolos. There are no Greek places, no Indian, one Chinese buffet, and two places for sushi. We do have bbq covered though.

Probably because they just rearrange 8-9 ingredients and call it something else.
Ordering for the kitchen goes like this:
beef, chicken, beans, rice, red sauce, green sauce, cheese sauce, onions, bell peppers.
Add to that a few other ingredients and you have everything on a mexican restaurant menu.

The best Mexican food is in California, hate to say it but it's true. So far all I've found in Texas is Tex Mex which is not the same, at all. Queso is like wtf? It's not Mexican food. Anyway I found a place that's actually Dominican Rep I think near my house and it is pretty good but they serve charro beans instead of refried so still a bit TexMex. Charro beans and queso were a new one for me! Also breakfast tacos, weird. Why not just have a breakfast burrito?

Mexicans will never get my money. Their food is boring to me

Friend works for Tarrant county health services as an inspector. He won't eat at Mexican restaurants because they're so nasty. He'll close one for repeated violations, they'll file chapter 11, "sell" the business to a family member and reopen as #126

IMO "Hot Rods" is as good a BBQ place as you can find. When I visit I always eat there at least once.

You’ve never been to a real Mexican restaurant.
You would probably throw a fit if you ever went to one because there wouldn’t be free chips and salsa and it would be pricier than your normal shithole grease and cheese Place
