My ex-wife had/has a special needs daughter. My wife was an aide in her class. After my ex and I split, the teacher suggested that we should get in contact with each other, if nothing else to be friends. She has a special needs child as well so my being around made things much easier because I knew how to handle certain situations and what-not. A few years later, we got married...and are nearing our 1 year anniversary.

I met my first wife at The Chimes when we were in college. My friends and I used to go for long bike rides on Sunday and then over to the Chimes for beers. She walked in and caught my eye. I thought "she's something special". Later I found an excuse to go over and say hello. We dated through the rest of college and were married for 11 years. But she is more married to her job than she ever was to me and it didn't work.
New wife: I went back to BR for Christmas and my friends invited me to go for a run around the LSU lakes the morning of Christmas eve with their run group. She was the hot chick with the pony tail that out ran me the whole way. I tried to catch her a few times, she dusted me. After the run we all went back to one of the group's house for breakfast. I finally get a chance to talk to her and we hit it off immediately.
The weird twist was the she was friends with one of my ex wife's friends and she had actually come to Houston to ride the MS-150 one year with some other girls and slept at our house. And she and my first wife took dance classed together when they were little.
Baton Rouge is a small small world.

Met her through a guy i went to the gym with. he brought her to a mud run that a group of us from the gym ran in. we got to talking and went for drinks later that night.

Co-ed intramural softball at LSU. We won the ship that year and she was a baller, it was a sign.
