Well the funeral wasn't the first clue but it was perhaps the most obvious clue.

The last one? Should have been over the first time, took her back a couple months later and the mask had slipped. I'm not a mental health professional but it seemed like she had a lot of narcissistic tendencies.

Always hard to accept, but the communication slowly ground to a halt. She obviously had issues, but on the surface, all was fine. A funny example; I go to the commode & the paper is hanging unrolling against the wall. Of course I turn it around the way it had been hung for 10+ years. Next trip, it is hanging against the wall. This went on for thirty days without a word said.
The issues never came to the table until it was over and even then she could not be specific. Took me decades to accept the fact they are all crazy.
