It would always pop up on Google searches for me and I lurked for many years before creating an account. I’m not even an LSU fan and I have no relation to the state of Louisiana.

I believe I came here because I was looking for places to post about the Saints during the 2006-2007 playoff run when Brees and Payton first arrived.

I had a lot of potential I needed to waste, youth I didn’t appreciate, and a life to leave unlived. I stumbled upon this site as the Saints made their historic Super Bowl Run from reading another saints fan site telling me how awful this place was. Curiosity got the best of me and I made an account here.

I found a group of cackling but entertaining hens discussing food and seeking attention, a group of sports fans as loyal and dedicated as they are rabid and reactionary, a group of political idealists and fringe radicals arguing into the void, and a small group of good people sifting through the endless mire with me.

Through Google. As embarassing as this might sound, in HS, I would get on LSUSports.net and find the radio broadcasts to listen to baseball games. In the early 2000s, it wasn't just on TV every game. Did that into the mid 2000s and then was googling ways to get play by play and stumbled on this around 2008 and voila.

On here, it won't let me go back beyond Sept. of 2008 on page 1733...oldest post I can see is discussing how bad the Saints defense is.

Back in the old days there was another LSU sports forum, but they decided to charge for their service. Almost everbody bailed out and landed at TD. And the rest is history.
