Yep. I used to only read Dandy and stumbled to td the same way same year when living in Dallas.

I was living in North Carolina in 2006 and was looking online for LSU football news or discussions. I clicked on the tigerdroppings link out of curiosity, began reading and before I knew it, I was regularly reading. Im not sure what I was thinking, but after several years, and despite warnings from my wife, I finally signed up for an account. Since that day, I have abandoned all hope of ever having a normal mind or outlook on life again.

I came to LSU from out of state and planned on rushing but had no idea what fraternities were good.
I googled something like "what are the best fraternities at LSU" and a long TD thread was my first click

There's a popular political blog in Jackson, MS run by an LSU fan that would sometimes link to things on here. I found the Political and Money boards and got hooked with the group pf libertarian-ish capitalists that occupy those boards. Occasionally I visit the SEC Rant and O-T boards.

Back in 09 stumbled on a recruiting thread via Google search. Some unknown recruit that didn't have a profile on Rivals but was talked about here.
Joined in the summer of 2010 right before my senior season in HS football. Herb Tyler came to talk to us and I just had to share with the Rant.
The OT converted me into a rap hating racist shortly after.

I don't remember exactly how I found TD.
I had been on that OTHER message board and they started charging users for a subscription to keep the riff raff out. I found that the $ didn't help and in my NSHO, the site went downhill.

Fascinated by the Tigers as soon as JJ kicked the guy in the head. Listened to all the local radio on them that season. End of that year local am sports shut down and I needed more info. Found TD and first thread I read was someone crapping on a bakers rack.

I don't remember honestly, but I assume I googled "LSU message board" back when we were set to meet up in the NCG. I'm not a fan of hometeam message boards, but love to see what the opposition is saying.
