Sounds corny af, but I actually get pleasure from being considerate and polite to all types of people, if they allow it. Some people are such assholes that they won’t allow it.

This is worse in places like Louisiana because of our overabundance of shitty people in the population. It's not as bad when you go places where people actually have something to live for outside of waiting for a government check to arrive in their Section 8 mailbox.

I know black women get a bad rap, but 50-70 year old white women are the absolute worst. You'll be hard-pressed to find a more ignorant, demanding, and just rude group of people. It's appalling.

There is a "type" that I absolutely loathe dealing with because I can tell just by looking at them or hearing their voice that they are about to be trouble. They all have the same crazy look and voice.

You can find the soft spot in any human being if you try. I try to look upon troubled people as suffering internally to a large degree. They are conditioned to believe that they are what they are not. We are spirits in a human container. Spirit is eternal and connected. i find most people still hold doors and say thanks. people have had boom boxes and loud car stereos for many decades. and littering has always been an issue, especially when more people smoked.
But people do seem to have lost all interpersonal skills over the past decade. Everything is social-media speak, virtue signaling, odd bragging and life-justification/lifestyle building, just as on social media.
Drivers also seem to be worse. I drive very proactively and not slow (i wouldn't say aggressively, but not passively)--and people seem as though they are actively trying to kill me, my family and themselves on the road. Especially Hell's Highway (the entirety of I-12--I know, autobahn topic, but it's true).
And who the F said it was acceptable to talk on your damned cell phone in public on speaker? I remember when I was embarrassed to talk on a cell phone in public AT ALL!
