I'm surprised we don't have bands of roving ne'er-do-wells hitting licks on the defenseless autistic kids that wander around the Pokemon card shows with thousands of dollars worth of cards.
I saw a video the other day of a kid who showed a binder to some guy. The comments were saying the collection was unreal and the cards in there were worth $100,000+.

I hate the NBA and honestly I think basketball sucks and is boring (even with Will Wade) but I got tickets from a friend to sit courtside at a Milwaukee bucks game last year and it was awesome. Haven't watched a game since either

I'm not looking to get into cartoon card games but honestly it sounds as/more interesting than a soap opera with occasional sports contests and 24/7 circle circle jerks of grown men on tv showing you their forearms (pat macafee) and filling air time talking mostly about nonsense.

Years ago when the virtual (or whatever) pokemon game first came out, I almost hit an adult Asian guy who ran out into the road right in front of me as he was chasing pokemen that didn’t exist. This was on a 55mph fairly rural highway.
To my knowledge I’ve never almost hit an adult Asian guy chasing an NBA player that didn’t exist into the highway.
Make of it what you will, but that’s all I’ve got on the subject.

Ive never heard anyone say this. 90’s NBA was arguably the peak of basketball. It was awesome.

Pokémon plays on nostalgia for a lot of the older people that played the games as a kid.
All the other people you see buying Pokémon cards are just trying to make money off the sudden popularity and money influx

Officials will actually call "traveling" on a Pokemon card.
