32 years ago I walked in Footlocker and a worker walked up to me and said “yo yo what you feeling today Holmes”.
I too remember walking into that place and realizing instantly that I’m not their target demographic.
It also helped crystallize that outside of running shoes, once you know your size with various brands it’s infinitely easier and better to shop online.
Selection, availability, price and convenience.

Samsung literally designed their products to fail, they were sued and admitted to it.
I missed this, do you recall which products were involved?
At one point they were thought of as top of the line for consumer grade TVs.

Went to an On the Border restaurant once at like 7:30 on a weeknight. Very few people eating, tables open everywhere. Stood at the entrance by the podium for a couple minutes and no one was there. Had three workers walk by me, make eye contact with me and keep walking. I turned around and walked out and never went back.

You are the dick in this situation.
Most decent food establishments have a separate cashier or check you out immediately for call in orders.
Suck my dick.

Recently went into a rather large Chinese buffet restaurant in a town I’m working in. Immediately upon entering the door my nose is assaulted with an overwhelming stench of an aquarium that couldn’t have been cleaned in months. I took a glance at the one or two people eating there and left.

quote:My mother passed away and I inherited her used cadillac. I used to go to Benny's to get my oil changed. Price for an oil change was almost the same as if I did it myself. I had the oil changed and didn't drive it much for about a month. I went out one night and heard the engine knocking badly. I towed it to my mechanic and he said there was no oil in it, that someone had physically removed the oil sensor (they don't just come off) and that the engine was toasted. I went to Benny's to complain and they said there was nothing they could do because the video (of underneath in the oil changing bay) cycled every 30 days. I couldn't prove that they did it but there was no other possibility.
Years ago I paid Benny’s car wash to wax and detail my vehicle because it needed a good waxing but I had just had elbow surgery and couldn’t do it myself. I sat while watching them spray wax on then wipe it off. I paid them something like $75 or $100 - don’t remember now - for them to put my car through the auto wash then spray it down. I was pissed and haven’t spent a single dollar there since.
I've never been back.

To make sure they have enough to complete a larger order, and so you don't have to wait for them to make it. It has nothing to do with you thinking you deserve to go in front of waiting customers.

Yep, it is definitely a you issue.

Broadmoor garage in Shreveport. Brought my car to them because it felt like the alignment was off, drifting left. They call me and say it’s your tires, can we replace them? Yeah, sure. Thanks for figuring it out. They still charged me for an alignment that I apparently didn’t need. Sent me a card thanking me for my patronage and asking that I call the number if I had any problems. I called and explained the issue, manager was not helpful. Never went back.

American Airlines. Got denied boarding pass at ticket counter many years ago 58!minutes before my flight because they said they were strictly enforcing the 60 minute rule. Had to stay overnight and fly back the next day at great expense to me.
Found out from a coworker that was in the flight that American had overbooked it by 19 seats and was handing out free tickets and $500 vouchers and begging people to give up their seats.
The 58 minute screw over was just a way to get out of being responsible for one more overbooked seat.
It’s probably cost them 15-20k in tickets from me over the years. Even if they’re the best option I’ll choose United or southwest

So you don’t have to wait for it to be made you entitled frick. If they don’t have a separate counter for pickup then wait in line like everyone else.

Maybe you should’ve placed an order at one of those establishments.

I use to love Buffalo Wild Wings boneless wings, but they changed the recipe or the nuggets they were using. Well they taste like shite now. I am sure tons will say they always sucked, but I like them for a while. Now I am no longer their customer. I am all on board for wingstop.

There once as a Clothing Chain here in East Tn, called "Goodys".
I was returning something my wife had bought for me and there was a Sales Lady helping an elderly Lady customer nearby.
The owner of the store came out and began to chew the Sales Ladies arse for not assisting the customer. Which she had, the entire time I was in the store.
I have regretted many times that I din't tell him what I thought of his rude behavior.
I never went back.
They are now out of business.

I boycotted WalMart from like 1995 till like 2003. In my broke days I bought a lawnmower there, I started it and it was wobbling everywhere with a bent shaft.
Took it up there to exchange they refused saying I hit something. The mower had never been off concrete.

I needed new tires .. Lady got an attitude with me when I said “thanks for the options .. let me see what my husband prefers to do”.
“I’d just put what I want” was her reply with an attitude.
“Maam I know grocery shopping, school supply shopping etc. me choosing Tires is like my husband shopping for a prom dress with our daughter”
She was beyond rude and I will never ever go back there.
