The truth = direct racism where people from majority black and Hispanic countries are referred to as inferior. This is your reality.

Well I think Haiti is a shithole. So long as you’re consistent, I don’t care, but assholes like Don Lemon or Chris Cuomo can never say that any state in the Union is a shithole from this day forward.

I mean they also aren't the President of the United States and representing the country.

Why not approach it with some tact? What does calling it that accomplish?

Anyone who has ever been to these countries would agree that they are shitholes. The truth hurts, but at least we have someone with balls to speak it.

If a shithole wasn't a shithole the population of said shithole wouldn't want to come here.

I agree that we should only bring in the best and brightest.

But why does that have to be limited to modernized nations?

If you are driven to succeed and willing to work hard, you should be lawfully welcomed into our nation.

If he denies saying it, why are you up in arms about him saying it? Also if he did say it, he didn't say it publicly it was in a closed door meeting about the DACA bill. This is clearly Democrats doing a disservice to the country as per their usual.

I said the same yesterday when it was first announced.

If he said what is reported, it's an ignorant way to frame the "best and brightest" argument. Who knows the context of the quote, but I can't imagine a scenario where that was the best way to say it.

It's like 3 steps forward, 2.5 steps back with Trump. I'm not sure why the good he can do must always be saddled with the extracurricular baggage.

I don't really care either way, but the jimmies rustled in this thread is funny. I don't think it is presidential though, and I don't see what it accomplishes.

So it accomplishes nothing. Got it

This is the key here.....a lot of them coming from the shite holes come and treat the US like the shite hole they came from.
