But yall need to stop believing everything you see on social media or everything you hear on shows that are catered to one side of the political aisle.
What are you talking about? The great reset isn't ripped from Facebook or a chain letter email. It is an economic philosophy whose policy was cooked up by THE leaders of global economic policy. WEF, IMF, titans of industry, and now heads of state are openly advocating for it and laying out how to implement the policies at conferences held by the very people who came up with the idea.

Of course he didn't. He doesn't even grasp the concept of what is being discussed here.

Author is from CNN and writes for the Washington Post. How slanted is it?

It's usually old people just entering the early stages of dementia, but still otherwise pleasant and mostly functional talking about the "new world order".
If it wasn't the Russians, it was the Trilateral Commission, if not them it was UN, the Free Masons, Multinational Corporations, the Illuminati or Aliens. We've been hearing this same shite with a different names forever.

Way too mainstream for him. It's a clear diversion to distract the sheople.

1 billion people will be displaced by climate change?

If it was just this "book" then I would be in your camp but when you take in the collective works it becomes clear what is happening.

you think the "great reset" is a popular belief?
how boring would life be if we all just nodded and said "you are so right OP! what a brilliant observation!"
but that is seemingly what so many of y'all want here
so odd to me
There are linked videos in this very thread, with world leaders actually talking about it. World leaders that control the population. Popular or not, it's what they intend to force on us.

only now
which was kinda the point of my original post
"The Great Reset" has been a conspiracy theory for decades, but has just recently gained popularity, which seems to be mostly from the WEF literally naming calling their meeting "The Great Reset"

They don’t want less consumers, they want the US and Europe to be THE consumers. They want China and third world countries , where both life and labor are cheap and the people easier to control, to be producers. They want the US and Europe to become dependent upon the foreign production. The big IT and electronic based companies are pushing it. Whose stock and revenue skyrocketed during the pandemic ? Amazon. Why—bc we stayed home and depended upon them. Google, TikTok, Baba, etc. Fricking Baba was in the tank prior to 1/31/20.
There is this guy named Karl Max who wrote something about this. Most of the world thought he was a quack. A guy named Vlad I Lenin thought that his theory was the pathway to utopia. He promoted it and spread the word of it throughout Europe. He caused chaos in his own country until the disenfranchised begged for it. He spoon fed it to them. He then murdered the millions who opposed it or he thought opposed it. He also murdered millions through starvation that did not benefit his machine. Some folks in China also thought this was a great idea. They implemented the theory in 1948. By 1955 they murdered millions who opposed it or couldn’t benefit the machine.
The theory has been tweeked and wrapped in pretty paper. Some call it an economic reset. Some call say capitalism is bad. Some say that equity in the path to utopia. It’s like putting cyanide in koolaid. You have to make it taste good if you want people to drink it. Tell me what’s good about the US not producing it’s own steel, oil ,fuel, consumables , food, etc? Tell me what’s not good about prior working hard everyday to earn their own money , using that money to buy time / freedom and doing whatever the hell they want. Tell me what’s good about giving free things to people who refuse to work? Tell me what’s good about forcing me to give up what I earned through my hard work to give to someone who didn’t do the same in order to be fair and equitable ? Seems to me OUR economy works best when we produce our own and buy from ourselves. Sure, we need to trade and engage in international commerce ——-but ONLY with countries on our political and economic footing.

Well, these people are openly claiming to want to "change the way we view capitalism".

It's total horseshite and designed to make people accept the fact that they want to jam as many third world people into Europe, the US, and Canada as possible.
