IT in O&G industry. I don't think anyone ever uses a full sentence without one.

I do contract work for AT&T. Everything they have/do has an acronym. I think they have acronyms for their acronyms and 99% of them make no sense whatsoever

You just said a mouthful! I'd really like to know who they pay to come up with some of their stuff.

I do commercial heating and air with AT&T being one of our larger accounts. In addition to the normal acronyms of our trade you have to keep up with the 9 million that they have come up with.

Healthcare has so many that providers actually have a banned abbreviation list to prevent ones that could be misinterpreted and ultimately cause harm.
