How come there's no google maps street view on Chappaquiddick Island?

I was looking at street view in Venice, Italy and Google paid a gondolier to navigate the camera through the canals. Surely they can hit the island

Because Google has a special conspiratorial reason to keep you from looking at the streets there, lest you suddenly collapse the thriving Kennedy dynasty.


Or maybe not.

There are a lot of gated communities and private roads that prohibit access for street view. You can get them to pull your Google Maps view too.

In a little further research, I learned Ted Kennedy jumped in the water and swam 500 feet across the channel to Martha’s Vineyard since the ferry wasn’t running after midnight. Went to his hotel to sleep.

That’s kinda badass.

Continued research revealed how much of a despicable piece of shite that dude was. Apparently, he and two other lawyers went to breakfast the next morning, talking to people and such as if nothing had that happened at all before finally calling it in.
